I shall look, thank you! Worse comes to worse, I have a 6th Gen and I’ll just deal without a V8 fora while, lol. Might just scoop up a pavement princess C7 or 6th Gen down the line.

Please elaborate. Everything I've seen says these places ship out parts to repair facilities.

I work for a place that ships parts directly to the production facilities for all of the big 3, plus a little bit of service parts. The service parts shipments have been affected, but our production shipments remain unaffected.

Those dates are a long way from January…
Ok... I missed it by a month... Not far off from their original forecast which is about par for the car building business.

No matter how you count the days, the bottom line is that during that final month or two thousands of people who ordered cars won’t get them. What a sh*tty ending for the Camaro legacy.

After reading a bunch on these forums I learned that specific allocation was hard to come by. I happened to find a dealer 20 mins away where I was first in line for a 2ss as fortunately for me they had a long line for 1ss’s and LT1’s. I had decided late in the model year that I wanted a new 2023 and I was only going to order one if it was a 23 because shadow gray was getting dropped. I feel very fortunate to have been able to snag my car (first ever brand new car for me as well) and hope that everyone else who wants one is able to get one before there are none left.
I have a twin in Pennsylvania. Shadow gray metallic 2SS 1LE M6

I read that they're re-tooling the Camaro Assembly line for some non-Camaro 2025 Electric Vehicle. They're anxious to get started, that's a big task.

GM has gone all in on this EV lunacy and it will probably drive them to bankruptcy. No one wants to pay $60‐$100K for some POS electric that has nowhere the convenience of an ICE vehicle.

From a Reuter's article 9/22/23:

"Fain said the decision on the expanded strike would impact consumers trying to obtain repair parts. The distribution centers are parts warehouses that ship parts to dealers and other retailers for use in car repairs"

If this is true, the Camaro assembly line should not be directly affected by round 2 of the strike

The parts plants and CCA warehouses are to ship parts to dealers, but they also do kitting and organization of parts. That's why some are down the road from the assembly plants. Everything gets organized and in special containers to go directly to the line. As far as EV's go the only plants the uaw won't strike is the EV plants because they are bleeding cash. Ron farley stared that ford predicts to lose 4.5 billion this year on their EV side. 14 out of 15 of my nearest Buick dealers dropped their franchise due to EV's. This ev fade will be a flop, it already is.

If they have a date to shut the Lansing plant down and uaw stays on strike, does that mean more parts for us ?
