I would agree with that! The funny thing is, the 6th gen is actually smaller, measurement-wise - it fits better in my garage than my 4th gen did. The early 4th gens, the 6th gens, and the early 2nd gens are my favorite-looking Camaros.

4th gen is longer by 5", but the 6th gen is wider and taller.

Yes, it was traded in on the 2020. The ride was too rough, and I was tired of dumping money into it. The guy who bought it from auction also sold it because of the rough ride, LOL.

What do you mean? Like the suspension components are shot? Old tires?

By request, here are some more pics of my stereo install, with pics of the power and ground connections.

In this first pic, the 1/0 gauge red cable to the battery is the factory power cable. The 4 gauge red cable at the same connection is the power cable for the amp. The other wires will be explained in subsequent pics.

The black wire attached to the ground wire on the battery is the ground wire for the battery charger.

In this pic of the top of the battery, the 16 gauge wire with the blue connector is the power wire for the line output converter. The black wire (with the fuse at the left side of the pic) is the power wire for the battery charger. For reference, the connector that says 350A is where the main power cable attaches to the battery.

The 16 (18?) gauge wire in this pic, with the fuse toward the middle, is the power wire for the line output converter. The clear spots in the wire are heat-shrink solder connections (the sleeve is clear, the wire is not bare/open).

Here is a pic of the wiring going toward the front of the car. The 4 gauge cable for the amp is running along the 1/0 gauge power cable for the car. The amp fuse is circled in black. The amp power on wire is circled in blue, and comes from the line output converter. The line output converter and the amp are grounded to the bolt circled in red.

Here's the battery with the cable protector installed. The previous owner must have broken the cover. I should look for a new one.

Here are a couple of pics of the sub & amp, after cleaning up some of the wiring. I need to figure out a better option for keeping the sub in place. WOT acceleration has caused it to move around in the trunk, even with velcro strips on the bottom of the box.

I discovered that the subwoofer rolled around in the trunk after some experimenting with Launch Control and WOT acceleration. I came up with this solution to prevent further rolling around. Zip ties and saddle bases (the bases are screwed down). Might need to add a 3rd zip tie but we'll see how it goes.

Well, the zip ties holding the subwoofer enclosure failed. They didn't even last a week. They both snapped where I have the holders attached to the enclosure. Luckily the sub didn't move. Next I'm going to try bungee straps to see if they'll work. I'll be attaching them in the same manner as the zip ties, more or less, except with ratchet straps tie downs attached to the top of the enclosure.
