I drove to Dallas, TX years ago, and passing through Arkansas into Texas the semis were doing 80+ mph, so I just paced a Semi

That has not been my experience. The last ticket I got was about 2.5 years ago. 91 in 70 but he wrote it for 84 in the 70. Less than $200.

BTW, I’m not aware of anywhere in GA where the speed limit is 75.

Probably got the 'Super Speeder' fine in Georgia. To be fair it used to be alot worse. Local municipalities all up and down I-75 were tagging Florida originating/bound/out-of-state/tourism traffic for doing 5 over the limit to bring money into those smaller towns. The state eventually made it a law that local municipalities (city and county) cannot citate for speeding unless it's greater than 5 MPH over. State troopers still can however.

In Georgia I just keep it at 80 and I've never had any problems.

In Texas (where I live now) you can pretty much do 80 - 90 all down the eastern leg of I-20 between DFW and Louisiana. You can get away with 85 on I-35 between DFW and Austin. I'd becareful on I-20 heading out west into the desert though, alot of highway patrol.

Here's a video of how fast Texan's really drive:

I got smoked doing 57 in a 35 in Arlington, VA (technically was on 395) - Cop wrote it down as 5-9 mph over or whatever the lowest category is, proactively do a driving school, judge knocks it down to a moving violation (no points, no insurance hit).

Helps that I have no record and no tickets (except aforementioned) in the past decade.

Mildly amusing that they went with the 20" 5-spoke, Carbon Flash-painted aluminum wheels, which is an $800 option for the public.

I had a 2012 Dodge Charger with a HEMI V8 as a patrol vehicle for 3 years until they switched to the Ford Explorers in 2015. For sure the fastest patrol car I ever had. Here in Florida FHP drove Ford Mustang LX 5.0's in the late eighties. And then in 2002 the state bought around 200 or so Z28 B4C models for FHP. i don't remember the year, but with a private donation FHP purchased 25-30 Mercury Marauders and left them with whatever factory color they came with.

Are the GSP Camaro's still designated as B4C or are they just regular factory orders? I thought they did away with the police package order.
