It did the same thing for me when I put in a 2022, so I switched it to a 2021 and then it said it fit.

Ok, I got it to work. You have to add 5 quarts and a STP or Mobile one filter. Put it in your cart and then do the same deal but add the other filer and it works. Like some others have said you may be able to take those filters you don't want and exchange at your local store for the Deloc PF 64.

Glad it has worked for you, we are definitely living in strange times right now, ride it while you can, but typically cars are a terrible investment...

I did two orders and one got cancelled... Says that it was potentially cancelled because they cannot fulfil it. Or my theory - I got two, the same deals one by one? I guess I need another 5qt from somewhere else...

Last night I added the deal to my cart, then in the cart I updated to from 5 to 10 qts and 1 Mobil 1 filter to 2. The extended prices changed a little but the total price reflected the value of the original deal times 2. Picked up from a local store within half an hour.

Really wish I knew what the REAL difference between ESP and the “regular” 0w-40 European formula Mobile 1 were… Like is it really that much difference, or is it simply that the ESP just has an extra cert

Just realized when I opened the bag to look at the oil last night that the store gave me the European formula 0w-40 ESP rather than the non European formula ESP version. Not sure what the difference is, but the European formula version was not what I ordered based on the Order I submitted online and the part number. The containers look very similar. I'll have to take it back.

The European formula is not ESP...

I don't have a bottle with me nor any pictures so I can't compare it now, but I could have sworn it said European formula on it. The bottle is different from the other Mobil 1 0w-40 ESP bottles I have at home. Both have green labels with ESP on them. Unless the packaging has recently changed. Maybe that's the difference. The other bottles I have at home have the NASCAR logo on them.

I would think they have different additive formulas, but like many things, I don't believe we will ever get a straight answer.

Maybe someone like ProjectFarm could do a test to see if they get similar results from different tests? That's about the closest you can get to a straight answer.

The key is to look for the blue Dexos2 logo. If that's there then you are good.

This is pretty much the only reason why people stick to the ESP stuff. It's just about the only oil in North America with this cert. Too bad I am in Canada and shipping is a pain so I will just have to sit here and watch you Americans buy these like toilet paper when COVID started.

Maybe if someone sends a sample of brand new ESP and European to black stone… I mean heck if it did prove to been the same/dern near… then thats a dang good bit of savings!
