I know that a 16' trailer works, but I'd go with a 18' trailer for better weight distribution. The load leveling stuff would not be necessary.

I would do the same but with his setup, tire rack, tool boxes etc even things out nicely. I also like a little more length on the straps making it easier to crank down.

The length of the trailer has nothing to do with weight distribution. I could move my car 8 to 10" further forward if I wanted to, but currently it's perfectly balanced with 14% of the load on the hitch.

The bars are for weight distribution > to put some of the weight on the front wheels of the truck.

I have an Aluma Tilt 18' LP on order right now and it comes with ramps for low profile Cars.




Actually wish I had kept my old one and kept using race ramps.
