Any new news? My RE-71’s are getting spent and I’m sick of spraying them down after every run. Has anyone received a set of 305’s or 315’s yet?

No joy on mine so far. I have 4x 305/30-19's on order from my local store. Was originally told 3-5 days, now...'we don't know'. Just hope they arrive before the ATL ProSolo.

I made same decision... RT660 is no show (for now), so set of RE71 until they do.

FWIW my friend Andrew bought a set of 660's when they first came out. His car is a CAM-T car. It's an '87 Monte SS with a full UMI suspension kit and a set of 3rd gen Camaro wheels (16x8). He runs a 225/50/16, and his rims are 4 fronts or 4 rears. Don't remember exactly, but they are sucked in on the back of the car (wrong offset). His car is beating cars it has no right beating lol. Andrew can drive for sure, but those tires totally transformed the car from a back of the pack car, to a car that hurts feelings. He's currently looking for some G-body specific wheels in 18x10 that will let him run big boy sizes. With the 16's he can only get Miata sizes.
Here's a video of his car (the 3rd car through), you'll see how skinny the tires are but it handles great:

A lot you have probably seen this by now, but Chad Ryker did a review of the RT660 recently. He was able to compare to other brands of tires, but it is clearly faster than the 615+. It's still not clear yet that they have produced the 315/30/19, but he had some inside info that they did and it's on the same cargo ship as the other big sizes. Nothing shows up on DiscountTireDirect.com for that size yet, but it is still listed as a size on Falken's own site.

Did the cargo ship get sunk by a U-boat? My RE-71’s are toast and I’m impatiently waiting.

That communication was only a couple weeks ago. It does literally take days (at least) for a ship to get here. Also, there are customs and probably other paperwork to clear before the tires can even be put on trucks or trains to get to their warehouse. In other words, it may take time. I think the earliest I heard about them becoming available was October. Even though stores are already putting out Christmas decorations, we aren't even done with summer yet!

When I last spoke with Chad he said his friend at Falken didn't expect the tires to be in until October.

I'll be on my 1/32nd RE-71's lol because the Falken ship sank in the Pacific. Curious what you run for tire pressures. I typically stay 31-32, but everyone says to go lower. When I take them down to 28 they just roll over real badly.
