CHIN has cancelled their NJMP May 2-3rd.
TNIA has cancelled their May 1st Road Atlanta and Thompson May 7th and Lime Rock May 20th
NASA has cancelled their NJMP May 1-3rd
Pitt Race has cancelled their HPDE May 2-3rd
SCDA has cancelled their May 2nd Thompson and May 12th Lime Rock.
MVPTrackTime has cancelled their May 4th Autobahn Country Club

...Not a good start for the month of May!

Foolishly hopeful that the SCCA still has their Time Trial at Carolina Motorsports park Memorial Day weekend. Even then, I'll be rusty as hell and running new mods.

Noooooooo!!!! COMSCC sent out their news / CV update this morning stating "Our event at Le Circuit Mont Tremblant has been postponed for the 2020 season." ...This event was scheduled for June 29-30th.

I think most Canadian tracks will remain closed this season. Unless a miracle happens and Covid disappears into thin air, which is rather unlikely...
Ive resigned myself to the car being in storage all year. Sucks big time, but it is what it is.

The NASA schedule now has the VIRus50 at VIR on the 16th of May. Open track limited to 50 drivers only (well 49 now )

A quick update: got some more details in an email from NASA about the event:

Details of this day

Private Event. Only drivers and necessary crew permitted.
8 hours of scheduled track time
VIR Full Course Configuration
Open Track Format (Enter and Exit track at your leisure)
Tech will be available for annual race car inspections at no charge
Participation is open to the following level of driver:
Racers
HPDE 2-Solo
HPDE 3
HPDE 4
Time Trial
Instructors
Competition Licensed Drivers with NASA logbook race cars will have one 30 minute session for wheel to wheel racing practice designed to help knock the rust off.... for.....safety reasons.


Friday:
Drivers may arrive on the evening of Friday, May 15 at 5:30pm. Lodging at VIR is available. Camping is also allowed.

Saturday:
7:45am A little Frank on the Mic
8:00am Driver's Meeting over the PA System and VIR Radio Station
8:30am-12:00pm Open Track--All Drivers
12:00pm-1:00pm Lunch Break
1:00pm-1:30pm Competition Drivers and Logbooked Racecars
1:30pm-5:30pm Open Track--All Drivers

Cost is $725

A new registration page has been set up for this event for Saturday May 16. If you had not registered for the May event already, you would select the top option which is Open Track.
