Me either. Kinda funny how some consider the sound fake when it is made by the engine itself.

Better than the actual fake engine sound pumped in by speakers.

This! For the life of me, I cannot hear mine no matter how hard I try. Also, I don’t see it as fake as it’s coming straight from the engine bay. It makes me think of me Folding my backseat to let in more exhaust sound.

Are they still using the sound tubes? I thought I remembered some people posting in '19 or '20 that their LT1 didn't come with it. My son stopped by with a friend of his that just got a 2021 1SS 1LE and I was surprised to see a sound tube.

Maybe convertibles don't have it?

Maybe the soft top lets in enough noise as is.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is?
My M6 2020 LT1 built February 12th (My birthday!, Thank you Becky!) did not have one, but my Rotofab needed a cap. I took the sound tube off my 2016 SS on day one or two. Add a CAI and pick up 0-5 HP, and enjoy the sound, no tube needed. Added to NPP any CAI makes harmonic soundblasts to motorheads like classical music.

Agreed, not fake. But to me the ST sound is hollow and muffled not the beatiful sound, and even stock, of the deep breathing LT1.

Real fake engine sounds makes me feel nauseous.

I had been thinking my '21 3LT w/NPP (built NOV 2020) sounded different in Tour mode than my '16 1LT w/o NPP. This thread got me thinking that maybe the 2021 3LT's also had a sound tube delete...

Yep! I just confirmed mine doesn't have a sound tube.
