Mine tends to shudder when cruising and the rpm are around 1500 and going uphill (even slightly). You will feel the vibration in the steering wheel and see the rpm slightly bouncing and hear a rumble. My car started at 10k miles and the did the flush which worked for about 2k but it’s back and getting worse.

Well, my son's 17 RS V6 has developed the dreaded A8 shutter at 4,550 miles. It was a leftover 17 that we bought 11/1/17 and has an August, 2016, build date. Approx. what date in 2019 did you say the new fix would be available and what exactly is it? I had hoped it was vibration from the 40 series run flats and our rough roads, but main highway is being repaved and surface makes no difference. will appreciate updated info on fix.

The long awaited fix will not fix it. More of the same shit. It is nothing but a glorified flush with a new tool to make it more aggressive. Good luck.

OMG what did I buy????> My 2017,1700 mile 50 anniversary started the shudder thing with a vengeance. It shudders so bad I hate to drive it.It goes in to the dealer Thursday.They say they will flush the trans first. If that doesn't fix it they will replace the converter.They should know that isn't going to fix it:: and put a new trans in it.What worries me I had a G8 they couldn't fix either.

I know one thing If Gm doesn't fix it I Am joining the class action law suit.I should get rid of it but I can't afford the loss I would have to take.

The flush should take care of it for awhile. Hope you purchased an extended warranty. If not and you plan to keep it you might want to do so. I don't know if you qualify for the GMEPP warranty but if so that is a good one.
