SSR Comps wrapped with Dunlops (star specs?) for the trailer. Speechless. The 12" diameter wheels on a 4x4 harbor freight trailer probably weigh more. LOL.

Would love to see some different angles of the hitch receiver mounted/unmounted with better lighting (shadows are hiding the details).

Also: did you have to trim/cut any panels?

Didn't have to cut anything. I'll work on some better pics...

Hitch was US$350.00 and wiring harness $65.00 from Leroy Engineering.

Wow, that's a beautiful piece of work. That's the right way to do a hidden hitch!

Ironically I’m buying a 1LE precisely so I don’t have to tow every time I go. I’ve towed my M3 for 10 years and I want something less involved. I no longer race wheel-to-wheel but still coach with a bunch of groups. I want something low maintenance, easy to drive to events and has AC. The 1LE seems a perfect fit.

Can someone send me the link to the removable hidden hitch? I'm looking at the Leroy Engineering page and it specifically says (not hidden)

There isn't a link, from what I understand. You need to contact them directly.

They will build you a custom/hidden hitch.
Could this be the answer to a rear tow hook? I am not sure what it could pull, but it definitely falls behind the bumper and i know no one has come up with a rear tow hook for us yet... Thoughts?
