As others have mentioned, I rarely get the skip shift. I tend to shift around 3000 rpm. The few times it has kicked in surprised me and made me say some expletives, but it's usually not an issue for me beyond a very slight and infrequent nuisance.
I too thought the viz was going to suck, but it's not that bad. I just use my mirrors like any other car and change lanes after I pass the car so I know nobody is in front of it lol. My daily driver is a full size pickup so squirting around in a small camaro (comparatively) seems easy to me despite the blind spots. |
