New Camaro owner here. I have watched your videos (Sledgehammer70) because sometimes you are the only one reviewing a product. Thanks for your hard work.

You're a total phony who hawks t-shirts and motor oil on the internet and plays it all off like you do it for everyone else's benefit. Anyone with half a brain can see through it. Mr. "I built a better car than the ZL1 for less". If I opened my window right now and yelled, more people would hear me than watch your glorified youtube commercials. You were supposed to be moving on to rice out another car the last time I checked...guess that didn't work out.

Anyone who's been on this site long enough remembers how you stuck your fat head under the car while painting your calipers without jack stands. And I know what a driveshaft loop is, what it does and doesn't do. It's a safety precaution for any car putting down enough power to snap the draft shaft.
I'm with Les on this one. I think Matt had some good videos/reviews at first but they have turned into full blown commercials at this point. I'm not saying Matt is a bad guy, but he has straight turned into a business--anyone that understands social media sees right through it. The constant Youtube videos of just driving around and talking or washing his car over and over over plus the multiple reposts on IG. The review on a red tow hook was when I knew it was basically commercials. Plus when I see Phastek banners on the window of a Camaro, I can't take anyone seriously.

Lots of people are making money off YouTube now days. Can't really fault a guy for wanting to make some side cash to fund his car habit. In the end people have a choice on whether they watch his videos or not.

Not knocking anyone’s hustle (I hope he makes millions), I just don’t get why people watch his recent vids or get so butthurt if someone states the truth.

My gosh, social media always seems to bring out the worst in people. What ever happened to "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"? So many keyboard warriors that think their opinion is somehow more valid than the rest. All it shows is your lack of maturity. If you see something you don't like, ignore it and move on.

I've been appreciative of Matt's videos as well. I do all my own work as most of you prob do. Seeing the job done with appropriate camera angles and even the occasional oops I find greatly beneficial to assist in educating myself on a job even somewhat before I tackle it. Gives me an idea of tools I will need to access certain parts of the car even to accomplish basic maintenance should I have to. Even for the work he did not perform himself he at least offered up cameras to Cunningham to see if they could capture what they were allowed to. Keep them coming man.

So if someone doesnt agree with everything, than they are immature? I simply stated the obvious, I said Matt seems like a nice guy & I also hope he makes money. Personally, for me—I think his channel has turned more into a reality show. Do the dozens of car washing videos really make your life better?

That's not at all what I said. And I also did not mention any names so you're assuming I was referring to you. The point was, if you don't like his channel, move on. No one is making you watch it. But to jump in on someone's post only to bash it is kind of childish. The guy works hard and is doing something that is his passion. Let him be.

I have a dozen car wash videos? Maybe a dozen reviews on products used to wash aspects of a car... Thanks for the kind words and not so kind words, but the channel is not a business. If it is, I suck at getting checks.

At the end of the day, for content to be served to the subscribers I have seemed to gain I have to upload a lot. Anyone on YT knows this. Yes, I have posted some filler content, the large majority is install guides, reviews, and conversations around topics. I honestly work really hard to bring fresh content to the channel and I can tell you it isn't easy and finding the time is getting harder and harder. But, yes some is off the mark or isn't perfect, just like me.

I have avoided being a vlogger of my daily life because that's not me or why I made my channel. I want to be helpful, but please don't sue me for wanting to share my build or why I did certain things or trips to the track. I was once on the other side, not knowing what to expect or how to feel and I can only hope some of these videos show that side of things.

I am not sure what red tow hook your talking about? My most recent tow hook video was honestly showing a product working in real life. Not many people think to capture it, but I figured why not. Yes I plugged ZL1 addons a few times and talked about their slew of offerings, but that is because I believe in most of the products John is making and would use them or I am using them myself. John doesn't pay me to make these videos nor has he ever asked me to make them. I have always been the one to ask him if I can shoot a video or do an install guide for a current or new product he makes. Is it because he live 45 min away from me, probably. But if more local companies had Camaro6 based products, I would be doing the same thing with them if they were willing.

But as some have stated, feel free to ignore my channels if you don't like the content. Yes, I have freely posted here on topics more than maybe I should. But I have always seen Camaro6 and Camaro5 as a pretty cool place to meet other Camaro fans and enthusiasts willing to help. I have had the chance to meet so many of them, and it is honestly an honor. I am truly at the core, just a big Camaro fan like many of you.

+1 (whispers, I like your videos...) Ever notice that the critics rarely ever produce anything of value? It's easy to be condescending from behind a keyboard; too many trolls are. As for me, thank you for the reviews. Further, I too like Amsoil... Good stuff.

I appreciate every single person that takes the time to make a video and post it, whether its reviewing a product or installing. Having the options to see real life items instead of advertising is valuable in almost every purchase decision I have made. Forums such as these and videos have helped me tremendously with every car I've owned.

I don't have the time to make videos. And I can be critical of anything I want--so being critical of a pointless review which is nothing more than click & bait is somehow me trolling? And like I said--Matt's early videos were great, I watched them and learned some stuff. It's the videos of late that to me are pointless and they seem more like ads than the early informative videos he made & that's my opinion.

Personally I find many of the videos helpful. That's not to say I watch all of them, but if I see something interesting or if I want to do something (eg painting my calipers at some point) I can get an idea of what's involved. Thanks for doing them.
