You will want to wrap it with some sort of heat shrink so corrosion is not a issue. I would also put something on the edge of that heat shield since that wire wants to ride on that sharp edge.

Okay I'm going to head to the store to see what they got, but gotta agree that it looks like the issue right? Even if I had to replace that one wire it actually won't be hard as it is grounded right next to the radiator! To me it looks like that might be the issue.

Great you found that. Take care of that and see what happens.
No guarantee it is your issue....but it was well on the way to being one

Yeah I'm working on it right now, hopefully it does the trick. If not I'll post a video and attach the link of what it does. It's like the car can't handle how loud it is and dies and resurrects lol

Yea its the issue...you can clearly see where it has been arching on the heat shield. See the discolored spot in the heat shield? I can tell you for a fact that the headers are not causing your issue. A tune will optimize the performance of the headers, but it should still pull till redline and drive fine.

Yeah, it definitely was the issue and yes that's why I was so worried or curious why my car is acting up because headers shouldn't cause the issue I was getting. But as I took off the heat shield you can see that the wire was not only cut open but burning. And the heat shield itself was burnt on the area where it was contacting the wire. So I ended up putting the heat shrink on their and electrical tape over that, I even went as far as cutting that piece of the heat shield off that cut into the wire and installed everything back.

I went for a drive right now (granted I can't go completely full WOT) as I'm in San Antonio and it's raining pretty dang bad but I have no issues what so ever with the car, I put it in snow/ice mode and stepped on it I'm 2nd and in 1st a little bit at high RPM and it ran like a champ so I might be able to say this issue might just be fixed!! Definitely need some dry weather to go full WOT. Thank you for your help btw.
