Beginning week 8. Dispute Resolution Rep left a voice mail last week that the were going to offer to replace the car. After 4 returned calls by me with no response, I am still waiting and wondering.

To all loyal Camaro fans out there, I appreciate your enthusiasm for the car. I have owned, driven and loved close to 50 GM products, but the way we have been treated has left me with a terrible sense of betrayal. Thanks to the help of Mr. Wyndham, a new transmission was received and installed and the car in ready for pickup tomorrow. I know this only because of Mr. Wyndham's email and my phone calls and email to the dealer. I was contacted by GM over a week ago with an offer to replace the car. The offer was accepted and since then I have made numerous phone calls to the dispute resolution person who made the offer and have not received any return calls. In my latest phone car to the dealer, he said his rep was going to make a settlement offer but did not have any idea what that might be. My wife's dream car has turned into a nightmare, we will pickup the car tomorrow and have little hope GM will even contact us to apologize, let alone attempt to address our issues. This is no longer about financial issues, it is more about the complete betrayal of our trust and faith in GM and the absolutely worst customer service response imaginable. Good luck everyone and make sure you buy from a good dealer. Without the dealers effort I don't know where we would be. GM should be ashamed and embarrassed and needs to address their complete corporate culture regarding customer service.

If it makes you feel better I can share that I had the same issue with Honda back in 2004. My wife wanted a Pilot and within 2000 miles the auto trans went out. We waited months for a replacement only to have them rebuild the trans rather than replace it. Honda never returned calls nor could you find a number anywhere to get them on the phone. It was a nightmare much like yours. I think this happens with all auto makers. They suck when you get beyond the dealership for a warranty issue. Yes, even the Japs!

They did the same to mine and also replaced first as well. I have to take mine in again bc when I engage first or 2nd it shakes the car. Only does it sometimes and it doesn't matter if it is warm or cold.
