I have "tempered excitement" that I just got the process rolling, just a tiny bit anyway...Ha Ha

I Don't know why people have to hate so much........
Here's the thing, nobody is "hating" on you.

You posted that you placed an order. You even went as far to say that even your dealer had an allocation available. What you really did, is got the process started by putting yourself on a waiting list and told the configuration you would want when you can in fact, order. It's semantics, sure. But you have people calling their dealer every day checking to see if order banks have opened yet (and they know that you certainly can not order a ZL1 currently) , and they see this click bait title, of course they're going to comment.

Regardless, I'm pumped for you, albeit slightly concerned.

Chad0311,
Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate it. And your right I should have phrased the wording differently. My bad there. I guess I was overcome with excitement that I got the process rolling. Just filing my paperwork with my specs so when the A10 does become available they can just submit my order. Whenever that will be....How ever long its gonna take, I'm in for the long haul.....C'mon A10 get here already!!!

How much money will you lose on trading a year old car?

Peeps been where he is weeks ahead with a deposit down and build sheet made ready to throw in when orders open up. I hope he's not first to get an A10.

Congrats man.

When I went from my V6 to ZL1 it was awesome. You'll never look back. Theses ZL1's are so much more than just a added supercharger. The Mag ride alone is a huge game changer.

And now after posting about having some buyers remorse, you are going full blown ZL1. I wish you all the best in this, but it seems like quite a jump. Regardless, congrats! the ZL1 will be a monster.

Also, to everyone complaining about "people trying to sway him" nobody is trying to "sway him". They called him out for a clickbait-ish title (which it is) because he did not order a ZL1 today, he spec'd one out (which is great) but not the same.
The number of clickbait titles on this forum is staggering. I feel like I'm looking at buzzfeed article titles half the time.

That being said Zach is one of the most enthusiastic and positive people on this forum and I don't think he meant anything by it and I can't wait to read his first post after he drives it, even though it will be next year

KaBoom1701,

I'm starting to get a HUGE smile on my face. Stop teasing me! Ha Ha Ha
What is it like driving a ZL1 and ALL that torque?

I've been around the forums a bit. I agree Zach is a positive/likeable guy. I'm happy for him (hoping that he doesn't take too hard of a hit on his LT if I am being honest, considering he is jumping back to be one of "the first" again for a ZL1). I just understand the criticisms he's receiving as well.

It's all good.

Congrats man!

The A10 is a perfect match for a powerful beast like the ZL1. You'll definitely pucker the first time you mat that gas pedal
