None that we have seen in any of the other MRC cars we make parts for. If anything, the MRC cars are more suited for lowering springs. They have the capabilities of dampening much high springs rates simply due to the way they work and the level of dampening they can achieve.

So will your MRC springs have different rates? Is there an ETA? |

As of right now we are not planning on doing an MRC-specific spring. Obviously if the demand is there we will. You will most likely see a dedicated handling and drag race spring come out first.

I know I will want to drop my 1LE, (seems many will by reading on here) but not mess up the spring rates...damn, now I don't know what to do as I always have used BMR suspension components. |

1LE has different spring rate than a SS. You would have to wait until someone gets ahold of one and test the specs. Don't see 1LE specific springs until the spring....and with a low volume car would anyone bother with the R&D required and production costs.

You'll be getting answers on BMR's current springs on MRC sooner than you think.

Low volume yes, but high volume as to how many will actually track them. Everyone I personally know buying a 1LE, which is about six of us, wants a lowering spring that will work properly. Normally I do coilovers, but this thing comes with MRC. Got to work with what I get lol...

Yes sir! Just got the car back home. Also got sway bars installed. Going to try and put 50-60 highway miles on it tonight to settle it in and then get an alignment tomorrow or Friday. By this weekend I should have a good initial impressions opinion and some feedback.
Only person I know that beat me to springs on MRC is Joe@Stillen. He was really helpful as well when I was asking around for some input from the active users in the track subforum. |
