MY Chevy Performance CAI

Well...not exactly an OEM, but I'm sure it's what Chevy will install as THEIR cai. Check it out at:

3.6 - 84242620
LT1 - 23408280 ( North America Market )
84162081 & 84242093 ( Non CA Emissions)
84073383 ( CA Emissions)

I've been refreshing numbers hourly each day until they release them. They usually change part numbers several times before the actual release. The LTG, LGX, and LT1 just did a # change about 2 weeks ago.

Prices are fluctuating but from what I've seen price range online will be around $400-475

Ah very cool. Thanks for the info.

We thank you for once again choosing CAI, Inc., this time our Cold Air Induction System for your 6th Gen Camaro!

I think waiting on this intake is perhaps the biggest waste of time since this platform has hit the showrooms. Its a mirage

So very weird... Drove it about 5 miles to go get pizza. I turned off car and fans continued to run on max after I shut car off. Return to car 4 minutes later after getting pizza and fans still on. I start car and audibly hear fans slow down to a normal speed and no more humming. I shut car back off and fans go off like they normally do. Turned it back on and no fuss at all... Weird because even after I've driven it hard that fans have never stayed on. But all seems well now. Guess it didn't like things being unplugged

So here's some pics. Wrapped it in gold heat reflect tape for giggles.

There is a cable that will rub on a belt below the CAI tube that has been known to cause this. Use the forum search to find the related thread. Check to see if any cables are touching the belts.

I have seen it do that when the MAF sensor gets unplugged. It recovers after a couple key cycles.
