Once you get your car moving above 130, you're going notice our aero is going to be a very difficult problem to overcome.

Definitely let me know if your tuner is able to remove your 160mph speed limiter without tripping the 85mph message. That was the one thing I could not figure out and we think there's a bug in our ECU.

I never saw the limiter, I started ordering mods before I bought the car lol and the tune was done at 260 miles I believe (I'd have to look at the paperwork)
I've had the car up to 170 and it floats a bit.

I'm hoping BMR will release a few more things and someone will come out with massive front and rear adjustable spoilers. Hopefully we can get the car to hug the road some more.

But yes, the limiter is not there and I have never seen a 85mph message.
What's coming up for you?

I'll swing by the shop tomorrow and get some pictures of the parts. The head gaskets are completely different from what I'm used to seeing. It's interesting for sure

If you could find out how they removed the top speed limit without triggering the 85mph message, please let me know. Do you know what tuning software package they used? With HPTuners, we couldn't figure out how to remove one without triggering the other, so they just left the 160mph speed cap on there. I haven't pushed my car that fast, but I'm told it will get up over 160 but the engine might not respond to me hitting the gas pedal after that point.

I don't have the 85mph message showing up because we just left the top speed cap on there. I've never actually seen that message, but they told me once they tuned the top speed cap off, it would show up. The only way to remove it was to put the top speed cap back. I needed to get the car back for a road trip, so I told my shop to just move on and we'd address another time once we knew exactly how to get around it. I wasn't planning on going that fast until I got my wider Foregline's and Pilot Super Sports mounted. I've got the tires in now and should have the wheels in a few weeks, so I wanted to revisit it. Whatever info you can grab would really be helpful - thanks in advance for trying to help

It might be a bug or triggered by one of my other mods or calibration adjustments that you may not have on your car since our builds are different....could be an HPT software thing too...I'm not sure exactly.

It was HPTuned, I could ask the guy about it but I already know the response will be "Why do you need to know? You're not messing with the software"
Which he has a point lol.

I know it's possible since I have neither listed on it. I'll ask though

Slight update, Hit 10,000 miles this past week. Some really quick 10k miles I might add.

Also the stars have finally aligned and we have the parts we were waiting on. My old lady wants to head out of town at the end of the month for a bit, so I finally have the time to drop the car off!

Still waiting on the Lexani wheels unfortunately... On the brightside I decided to say screw it and we'll be doing the Procharger, heads, cam, meth injection all at the same time. Pictures, video and numbers coming soon! Let freedom ring with the sound of a procharger whine!!!!

ACS splitter and side skirts are in

As well as the pro charger system! Still waiting on the head bolts from ARP, but apparently they're supposed to be here this week.

I'll grab as many pictures as I can from the tear down and build

Oh man...I was signed up for the fan club until now. I don't know if I can handle those wheels LOL. At the rate you were going I thought for sure you'd be going with forged.

Why a procharger over a Heartbeat or E-force?

These ones are forged, I'm still debating them honestly. Added a couple of small touches of red to the car as well so they flow better.
If anything I'll see how the 1LE replicas look or go a different route

Aahhhh the old lady might kill me lol

I plan on boring out the motor, putting a forged bottom end, and running E85 when I can figure out a way to fuel it.
It's a bit easier to upgrade the pro chargers internals to a F1 to allow more boost than it is with a traditional super charger (as far as I understand anyways)

I added a couple more things to the to-do list.
Boring the block out to 416 with a complete forged bottom end.

Woohoo!

Wow! How many miles on the engine when you pulled it out? And what shop is doing all this work?

Little less than 12,000 miles when the engine was pulled.
Sin City Performance in Henderson is doing the work to it
