Why do all Stangs Camaros and Chargers look like they are on stilts while all BMWs and other German cars sit right down on the tires?? US mfgrs call out the Govt but BMW has the same rules to deal with.

I agree it looks much better lowered. GM should lower these from the factory, but that will never happen. As mentioned above, it's probably the lower profile tires causing the bigger gap and maybe the suspension hasn't quite settled. One thing I did expect to see on this version of the 1LE was some badging on at least the interior.

Odd thing is the press photos show the car lower...I wonder if they are still developing the ride height? Looks like my first mod will be lowering springs!

...on the SS 1LE the front calipers do have 1LE logos...

Agreed, I love black cars but at least they could do a decent detail before the showing. Also not a fan of the lime green, must be a generational thing.

Tires are 285 30 and 305 30 vrs 285 35 in gen 5 1 le thus large tire gap . Shorter and stiffer side wall for better handling like the mighty z28

that is NOT a lime green, which has been a muscle car color for decades, its more of a pastel green, which im guessing is meant to appeal to... cake bakers?

I would have loved a vibrant lime green like the one offered by dodge, this is a bit of a bummer. they ruinied the yellow for this generation too by making it so pale. but that yellow is acceptable, this pale green is not. imo.

I'm still really glad I got a C7... but this, this is pretty freaking sweet. Nice going Chevy! If I ever couldn't drive my car, I'd not blink at getting one of these... at all! Damn nice.

I like the seats. It looks like it has an air ride suspension.

I absolutely love those wheels on the V6.

That fitment looks perfect. Perhaps I will consider a staggered wheel setup after seeing those.

I'm kinda really digging the 1LE V8. That looks great! Makes the previous gen Camaros look real ugly, in my opinion. (No disrespect, just my opinion.) I'm really liking that new body style and revamped interior/wheel package. That wheel/tire/Brembo brake package just looks so killer on there too. Just like everyone has posted,....needs more low though! lol
So,...do you think the new ZL1 will look similar to this? I'm more interested in the ZL1 than the 1LE.

I notice the V6 1LE also has the nicer, leather wrapped interior that is missing on the SS 1LE. I hope that's available on the SS 1LE. I don't mind missing out on the Bose sound system, I just don't want to be surrounded by plastic anymore. I used to not care, but I'm tired of hard plastic everything all around me.
