Has anyone figured this out yet? It's happened to me a few times so far that I noticed and I have the M6, so it's not tied to remote start and I don't have the android update.

I did notice though that you can still use your Mode selector button. Currently I've got my button mapped to my suspension (auto select checked off on the screen). I was changing that most often but now my car is loud and I need to change the sound more. That's when I started noticing that it happens at least once a week. When this issue happens, you can still change things with the physical button and it won't impact what you have set on the screen since that's the over ride. If you've got your interior lights mapped to drive mode, they will still change with the physical button as well.

Also, the screen settings that you had before Drive Mode disappeared still appear to hold when the issue surfaces.

I've only received the one message requesting my VIN which I responded to. However, my question in my PM about how this problem is being addressed wasn't. This issue was first reported by someone in this forums back in January and it's May. Can you please tell us what's involved with resolving it or if there's even been a solution identified? My car was built well after this was first reported (March) and there are no recalls listed on your website. I'm sure a lot of other owners are wondering the same thing, so any details you can share would be helpful.

Good Morning Nick,

I have just responded to your private message.

At this time, we do not show any service announcements or recalls (per your VIN) with related information. As we are not certified technicians, we are unable to speculate why this may be occurring. If you have not reached out to your local dealership regarding the drive mode concern, we suggest doing so as they may be able to provide additional information. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please let us know if you have questions.

Best,

Erica W.

The Dealerships don't know either.. Brought my car to two of them... The problem is difficult to duplicate and even if a Technician did, they would not have a clue as to what to do. I even supplied pictures so I imagine we'll have to live with it...

I've had a similar issue with the light strip color options disappearing. I can't recall if the drive mode option disappeared as well (at the time didn't realize they were linked.) The light strip options weren't present when i first bought the car and initially thought maybe only the SS could change color. I was using remote start the whole time and once I did a regular start the options reappeared. I'll check for the driving mode options if this happens again. 2LT w/o NPP

I had it happen again and after re-reading all of these posts from people I think it has to do with the car idling for an extended amount of time. Actually, "extended amount of time" isn't really that long. I think if you leave the car idling for 5 minutes you might be able to trigger it. That might be why we see people that have remote start having it happen. It comes right back, so it's not a big deal but it's annoying. It's been an issue since day 1 and it's still not fixed...

Mine will exhibit the problem sometimes from a cold start..I've tried to duplicate or determine the actions that cause it but no luck yet.

I noticed that when my driver mode and interior light modes are glitching there is also a glitch in the settings mode under comfort and convenience. When it is glitching, the only option under comfort and convenience is the chime volume. The other options...auto memory recall, easy exit options and reverse tilt mirror all disappear too. Please Fix!

It's like it needs several hours to come back. Just an odd observation I thought.
I've have my 2SS for about three weeks it has happened a couple of times already. At first I thought it was me just not accessing the proper menu. Then it magically re-appeared after a restart. So obviously still a problem.

I just bought mine and it has happened twice now where menu and screen options were missing related to drive mode and lighting. It shouldn't be difficult to find in code, there is obviously code that is conditional for these options, and that is where the testing should be concentrated.
