Yeah lots had sports cars when I was younger; 280z and two Mazda rs 7s and two pintos. Had three rodeos on the 90s and early 2001. Although one was a Honda passport.
Life was always good in a manual. What I was trying to say earlier is I've never really used a manual for the track or to race someone. I do love downshifting into a sharp turn and coming out upshifting that was always always fun not to mention coming onto an on ramp and sliding into all the gears perfectly I kind of miss my RX 7's or I |

It isn't about winning races or events... when it comes to the manual. Which btw you still can do lol. It is all about being the TRUE MASTER of the car and being ONE with the car. The connection you have between everything when it comes to driving the car is why I love driving a manual. If we all want fast as hell cars why don't we just go buy a GTR then take it to AMS in Chicago and spend another 80k so they toss their alpha omega package which puts down like 1600 awhp and just smoke everything... What's the fun in that? Back in 2012 I almost got a GTR and I am actually so glad I didn't. I had an evo mr at the time (twin clutch paddle shifter) which I went with a manual evo instead and man... I've had so much more fun with that purely because it was a manual. Now that I am driving a big ass 6.2L V8 with the tremec m6, I really couldn't be more happier. Well... Minus weather being 25F the past few days... Such a sweetheart to drive manual the LT1 is. I am damn impressed with the throw distance and the throws itself. I don't need a short throw nor bushings really.
