I think you are confusing speculation and hearsay with actual official information.

Calm down and think about it. We have see two to three track versions of the Camaro testing. We know something is coming. That's all we need to know. You can't be upset b/c you want to know company plans before they are ready to release details.

Heres my personal take on this...


The 1LE is a great car.... it should almost be its own version since it's balanced so much better for twisties its night and day from the regular SS.

The new SS will do a circuit at better speed....The balance and handling will be light years ahead of the outgoing gen.... But remember the SS is tuned for the masses.... meaning there will be a little more understeer for safety factor....and alot of the magic of the 1LE comes from the four square tire setup.... which the GEn 6 SS does NOT use....

Personally I really like being able to carve up corners so I will be waiting for the Gen 6 1LE thats testing RIGHT NOW on the Nurburgring....
