And then the Hellcat only wins in the straight line so they give the win to it over the ZL1. Classic useless bias reviews. The GT500 is a much better car than the Hellcat overall.

Good Lord, people.

The ZL1 was slower than the GT500 by a good margin on their best runs in a straight line. Other than that, it's a better car on the road. It's a better car if you want to do multiple laps on the track. The GT500 brakes ended up not holding up. So, what's the problem? ALl I see is Mustang people saying that Chevy's are one lap cars and suck in real world.. Well, here goes your 2 lap GT500.

The Hellcat is also fast in a straight line. It's also a better daily driver by far than a GT500. So they picked it over a ZL1. What's the problem? You can look at performance stats and pick by that or you can take subjective opinion into it as well.

I guess as long as they are qualifying their results I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Before I decided I wanted a ZL1, for 3 or so years all I looked at was the GT500, the HP number was what was so attractive to me. But after reading tons of reviews, watching endless video reviews etc. I came to the conclusion that the ZL1 was the better car for me.

That's my point. How does the Hellcat get the nod if the only thing it was better at was straight line. Hell they put the GT500 on the track for a hotlap. What did they do for the Hellcat, a point to point with baby curves and it still didn't do it any faster than the ZL1. One biased review means likely more biased reviews...but obviously they don't show bias to GM.

The Hellcat is a one trick pony compared to the ZL1 and GT500. It's absence from any sort of track day is proof of this.

As others already said, looks like this is a Mustang GT Premium in Triple Yellow with the Performance Pack — MSRP = $40,985. The lack of the spoiler specifically gives this away.

I think we know the Camaro SS is going to win out in most performance metrics. I assumed the price difference would be a talking point, but the two cars should end up having a similar MSRP for how they are equipped.

Yeah that mustang is for sure the performance pack. Which only makes sense. They need to make the comparison as close as possible, although I don't think there is a shot in hell for the stang.

A Mustang was my first car, but my Camaro was and still is my favorite car I have ever owned. Looking forward to the continued battle between these two amazing cars!

I don't get why some people feel magazine comparisons are the end all deciding factor of what's better. It's nothing more than a group of guys or gals, like us, sitting down and saying what they like more. Qualifiers or not, they're opinions and should be treated as such. Something to take note of, think about and consider.

The stats and pics are the best part.

So other than one person in an airport who managed to get 2 pics of this article before running off to catch a flight, no one has seen this on the shelf?

A new H2H came out yesterday so it will be a month before the video version hits.

No. On youtube Motor Trend has the Head2Head series. I thought that is what you were referring to. They only come out monthly I believe and they just posted a new one. Not the Camaro vs Mustang one people were hoping for
