I'm over 40 and I don't remember when teenagers bought new Camaros. At least not typical teenagers. I bought a used one when I graduated from college (still have it).

Yes! good response. I am older see below...
age 18, a good job and paying my way thru college and thankful. age 19, 1967 GTO, 400, air 4 spd $3000 give or take. Then a 69 GTO ram air III 400, 4 spd, air etx...$3600 I think. Then a 72 GTO 400 auto, air etc..$4100 on the window I think. |

These conversations in 30 - 40 years:
"These new 2045 Camaros are so overpriced!!! I'm not sure they are worth 120 grand!!! I remember when I got my fully loaded 2016 SS for 42 grand!! Those were the days!!!" .. .. Oh wait, by then I doubt we will be driving ourselves around much. Transportation will be all automated for our own safety by then.
