Yeah found out about the new Tahoe prices last time I was at the dealership. They had one on the showroom floor, 2015 LTZ. Pretty much fully loaded with the entertainment package, adaptive cruise control, power retractable steps, etc.., and it came up to $72,000! The Escalades start at $71,695!

Never compare an escalade to a fancy expedition. Escalades have an acclamation much higher than navigators. Which is why the escalade has a better use of space and actually has an interior of a luxury vehicle. Plus that 2015 Navigator is just damn ugly! It's not a Ford-GM thing, they're just ugly!

I would rather have the shifter on the console. I never liked the three on the tree look. Functionality be damned. As long as the cup holder is big enough to hold my beer in my cool cup and a compartment for my Sig, I'm happy with the console.

Indeed. It should be made as easy as possible to drink while behind the wheel of a vehicle.

And while we're clearing things up about what was said ... I didn't say anything about driving either. You can sit behind the wheel of a vehicle and not drive. In fact, if you are consuming alcohol I recommend that you do not do it while driving. Or even shortly before driving (for me, its usually at least 2 hours)

![]() Sorry, ![]() I do however like I said, prefer the shifter on the console. I wish I could like these new Big SUVs from GM, but something is off in the looks department for me after seeing them in person. I'm sure they will sell like hotcakes though. |

![]() ![]() I agree! I would gladly take an Escalade over a Navigator any day ![]() ![]() The 2015 Navigator is more of a stop-gap than anything else. It's more for Ford to wean people off of the V8 in the Navigator for the next all new Navigator in a couple of years.
