The 50th Anniv Ed. is also, from what I've heard, to be the only way to get the PP with an auto. All other PP GT's, for at least the '15MY, will have to be equipped with the manual.

When I was building my Camaro, I got on Fords website and tried to build a similarly equipped Mustang GT...Track Pak, Leather, Heated seats, transparent roof, Nav, some upgraded stereo and it was $48K!

Or compare a Boss 302 to a 2SS 1LE and you'll pay thousands more for the Ford.

Mustangs sound great and I love the heritage, but you get more for your money with a Camaro.
More for your money with a Camaro? I don't think so. If your comparing it to the Mustang, maybe. That's where it stops. Camaro has some catching up to do in the technology, safety aspect.

Nope, but give Ford less than 10/10 and get denied service...

As far as safety goes, there is no comparison.
2014 Mustang 4/5 star overall
2014 Camaro 5/5 star overall

Technology? What specifically are you referring to?

Some of the things that are offered on Challengers(new for 2015), Chargers, etc. I believe the Mustang has it as well. But the fwd collision/blind spot sensor, adaptive cruise control, wifi capabilities, etc. Hell my 300 SRT8 has digital gauges which would be a nice addition to the Camaro in certain trims (1LE, ZL1 and or Z/28). If the ZL1 is deemed the car with the creature comforts those things I mentioned should atleast be an option.

I'd imagine the 6th Gen to feature some of these capabilities which is what I'm holding out for.

It's kinda funny to see this considering you can get a Camaro for 65k - 75k.

First one takes a Mach 1's lunchmoney. Second one takes it's lunchmoney and then makes it eat boogers

Believe me, you aren't the only one disapointed with the lack of things presented regarding the next gen car!

It seemed like people were expecting the GT350 reveal (or what ever they call it).

Ford knows GM is watching closely so I think they are keeping thier cards close to the vest for as long as possible on any specs for the new car. The GT350 won't be revealed for quite some time. The Z/28 set a very high bar that I am sure Ford wants to exceed, and they don't want it to be exceeded by the 6th gen Z/28 right after the GT350 comes out. So keeping specs secret for as long as you can will help keep GM from benchmarking the car.

The flip side is that it frustrates the heck out of potential buyers and fans because we want to know dammit! All we can do until then is watch thePill make wild speculations. Which is entertaining, but does wear you out after a while.

I guess they expect karma to bitch slap them hard after what they did to the ZL1 haha.

Yeah, I used to be interested in what thePill had to say but after reading his rants on MustangG6, I realize he argues the same crap over and over again about the Camaro. Yes, the Z/28 can't race in stock form but no one cares. Well no one but thePill. His bias against the Camaro is bad enough but his ego is even worse.
