When I had a 91 Foxbody Mustang I had a guy argue with me for 5 mins saying that the 5.0 engine doesn't exist for that year. He said its either a 3.8 for 6 cyl or 4.6 for 8 cyl.

Best part?

The part I needed had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ENGINE. I needed a completely new turn signal housing and lens.

He may have. We finally ended the discussion after I took him outside and showed him the badges on the fenders and the "5.0 LITER COBRA" on the intake manifold.

I swear if he would have said the badges were aftermarket I would have lost all control.

Nothing unusual about that, they just read off what their computer screen says. Whoever programs their computers screwed up. Just try to use their website. I tried to look up a part for my car one time and when I tried to use the add your vehicle so it could look up the part, my car's engine wasn't even listed.

$7.95 - I've used Wix in my vehicles for over 10 years with no complaints. (And no RWHP gain)

The AC Delco performance filters (like the one our car uses) is made by the same company that makes Mobil 1 filters. There is another thread in the maintenance section where someone cuts open a new Mobil 1 filter and a new AC Delco filter. They are identical on the inside.

Also, Wix makes a lot of filters for auto manufacturers and private label oil filters.

where can these filters be had from though? i've never seen them. Wix is readily available on nearly every street corner, and ya can't go wrong with them.
