Styling ?- The first thing I think of is the change from wide to thin WW tires but this was in '63 from '62. Parking lamps went AMBER in '62. Seat belts standard in '64 but thse are not Styling changes. Not really sure what your asking.
Re my 4 door pillarless Chevy true hardtop question- It was in 1956.

Becky, I think I got it re Cam#7's question.
Wipers were a big change but again GM full sized cars were a complete new design in '65. I know as I had a new '64 Impala SS conv when the dealer I worked for got their first '65 Impala- A silver blue 4 door HT. It sure made my '64 SS dated overnight.

The key to this question is that it was industry wide change. I like the wiper answer, because this is a good indicator for a late 60's change.

The answer is curved side glass. I can only come up with 3 reasons for this industry wide change.
1) Safety things like padded dashes started happening so maybe curved glass is stronger?
2) Strictly a styling change
3) Roofs could be smaller so less materials and thus less costs.

Okay, Becky I'll pass to you for the next question.

1962, the 350 came out in 1967; actually with the Camaro introduction.
