That's what everyone said about the 5.0. It would cost more than the SS, it would be heavy but none of that happened.

Very true but in this case, I really think the '13 GT500 "base" MSRP will be on par with the ZL1 but adding performance options that are standard on the ZL1will result between $58k-$60k. With 650hp, the optional SVT performance package is a must.
