Hey Glo, my husband can do mechanical stuff which is awesome, but he's crap at the car detailing business so I made it clear he never has to help me. Here's examples of his "help".
1. I let him use the Camaro one day, he picks me up at work. I come out, he's hosed the dust off the car and left the water on it to spot up in 90 degree sunshine. Took me all afternoon to buff the water spots off it. After I rewashed it.
2. He came to a car show with me, he offered to detail the tires with the tire shine stuff. I come around and he's also detailing the rims with it. Soooo again, I'm cleaning up greased up rims after him, and that was another hour of time I'll never get back.
There won't be a third time.
Good luck on your manhunt!
