How about Yellowstone Lake Largest lake in the US at over 7000 feet elevation
look careful and you can see the TETON mountains over 100 miles away

Wyoming, T/A, Thank you for starting this thread... Makes me wish all the more we could have met up last May, but I understand...to the rest of you, if you ever need a place to eat in Cody Wyoming, this guy makes an awesome recommendation... Great Food, Great atmosphere, and amazing history...
I don't have access to my pictures right now as I am on the rig in Brazil, but I got some pretty good shots. I've seen the spots where some of yours were taken... When my wife and I went through Yellowstone, the lake was frozen over as far as we could see... The drive from Gillette to Cody was awesome coming down the cuts and valleys. I will be back up there some day, just a long leisurely drive... Amazing Country up there...
