Totally agree!!!The icing on top would be to integrate some styling from the new camaro and applied it to the ss sedan.

I just wish the price point of entry on the SS sedan had not been in the 40K range.
I think a market is there for a RWD sedan starting at $31,000 with a A8 V6 and going up to $44,000 with a LT1 A8. |

If GM wants Chevrolet to be the "fun performance" brand...they need something more engaging than grandpa cruisers (Impalas) and rental queens (Malibu). |

Also can someone, please, please articulate why chargers and challengers "Can't put the power to the ground" and the back end breaks loose so often? Be very specific if you could and under what circumstances this happens
I see that statement everywhere. Youtube, other forums, this forum, and I've never seen anyone explain it thoroughly. Ever. |

1. Small diameter, poor traction tires (even the SRT/Hellcat 275s are too small for the torque). 2. The LX chassis dates back to 2002 (when MB developed the original the LX is based off) The LX chassis is simply not rigid enough to cope with the powerplant. The 5 link rear setup just does not have strength with it's stamped steel units to cope and this produces excessive wheel hop. You can of course fix issues with tires, weak links and control arms with aftermarket units, but still be left with a chassis far too behind in technology compared to it's rivals.

In track mode the 2016 Camaro SS may be a bit better. I checked out a 2016 SS Sedan yesterday with the bimode exhaust and it's startup isn't as of aggressive as the 2014 SS Sedans.
