The three people referenced would know if an uncovered car were on the streets. If they say there is not one, there is not one. Period. Could they lie? Of course. But why would they allow an unwrapped car out on the streets before the reveal? if you said you were in the hills of California hiking and came across a closed stretch of road with an unwrapped car doing a photoshoot, it may be believable. But not just out driving around uncovered in some random town.

First, Fbodfather has spoken. Second, I'm not there anymore. Somebody could have stolen a prototype and driven it around. But I can say for that to happen would require an insane amount of craziness.

Almost all prototypes are white. Not all mind you but most. All of the test prototypes have Camo. So is there some early press vehicle or show vehicle that someone could have taken outside a gated proving grounds or tech center for a joy ride? Sure but it's equally likely someone built their own. And more likely someone seeing something that they couldn't explain.

It is possible, sure. So I wouldn't dare say someone I don't know is lying. I will give benefit of the doubt and say OP saw something unexplainable. But everyone has to also understand how incredibly unlikely that it was a 2016 Camaro.

I would believe it's a customized Camaro before I would a 2016. I have seen some customs on the street in my day that you would think were production cars from the quality of the build.
