Ferrada FR2
Got some new wheels on wifey's car after much debate. She likes all chrome but I didn't want that for this car. After wearing her down I got a reluctant ok to order the 228's in full polish. Heard they were stopping production on polished about the same time. I was going to run square in 10" but couldn't locate 4. After a cpl more nights laying in bed showing each other wheels I found these an since she was tired of looking, we agreed on these. I ordered through Discount Tire but they didn't have Ferrada set up as a vendor so they ordered through someone else.
Ferrada FR2 20x9 20et, 20x10.5 38et BFGOODRICH 245/40-20 , 285/35-20 Element's website fitment guide recommended 20et/ 38et. Whoever Discount called was recommending 25et/ 28et. I argued that seemed wrong as I had used WILLTHEYFIT with all kinds of numbers. It turns out wheels apparently aren't boxed up ready to go but machined to what we want. I think it turned out good but if did it again I would probably do 33et for rears. Only complaint is lug nuts are sunk on front an protrude on rears. I remember somebody else with similar issue on 228's? Let me know any suggestions. I'm thinking shorter studs an nuts on rear? Update: I found out today that front offset is 20, not 25 as I originally posted. Last edited by Kymmster; 07-01-2016 at 06:48 PM. Reason: Correct spelling |

I probably should have been more patient and waited for the 285/30's to get back in stock but I didn't want to wait, lol.
