Relocating harness, I noticed there are no videos showing the how-to. Is it a simple process?

The stock SS tires are that size on your car. The 1LE package is adding 285/30r20 in the front and 305/30r20 in the rear.

Can you show a side profile with the rims you used? What offset were the rims?

Piece of cake. Pull the liner out and grab a couple zip ties. There's a few different holes you can use to get it out of the way.

They are 5th Gen ZL1/1LE replicas. Same offset as the 5th gen. Not sure what that is, sorry.

315/35/20 tires rubbing issues?

I see the placement is shown. Did he have to drill holes to mount the zip ties to?

So in short, to avoid all this one could just stick to ZL1 wheel offset & tire sizes, 305/30? Would 305/35 be an issue?

You shouldn't have an issue with the zl1 setup and tire size. 305/30 is actually the correct height. I'm still not sure why so many people are going with 305/35 except maybe to fill the fender gap a little.

5th gen 1LE used 35 in the rears... but I'd like to use 35 also for reason you mentioned, fill gap.

Has anyone reported rubbing with 305/35?

I could be wrong but I believe the 5th Gen had taller tires on all SSes. I wouldn't compare 5th gen to 6th gen sizes.

No I'm not comparing, I used to have a 5th gen w/ 1LE but on my 6th gen I'd like to go for 35, just to fill the gap better.. just don't want to deal with rubbing.

Cool, then I might just play it safe & stick 305/30 & get the GM lowering kit.
