I think this could be possible for the very base 1SS (as we call it today)...but might be a stetch. I'd guess 3,700 lbs, give or take 50 ....so yes your on the low end of that lol.

I may be in the minority here with this post. I would like more HP. I love my ZL1, so much that I've owned two of them. I personally would sacrifice 7-10 seconds on the ring time for 100 more horsepower. It's a muscle car and should be very fast in a straight line. Sure make a road course model like the Z/28 but please don't repeat getting stepped on by competitors like the GT500 and now Hellcat. I'm a Chevy guy to the core, but damn I'd think hard about buying a Hellcat if I was in the muscle car market today.

With the new supposed weight loss, I hope they dont pull what ford did with the 15' stang. It's smaller than the 14 but freaking weighs 84 lbs more. Its still faster, but its like faster by a .4 -_-

1. Weight and size reduction.
2. Differentiate more between the V6 and SS. 3. Improve interior lighting. 4. More hp. 5.This will never happen...... get rid of back seats. |

1) Best in class weight in all models (turbo 4, v6, v8).
2) Best in class hp and tq. 3) Exterior styling to be similar to current 5th gen. 4) Interior materials to be greatly improved and push to start on all models standard. 5) Pricing relatively close to 5th gen. If they do that, they will continue to be the leader in market share in sports coupe segment. |

Functional gills. If they're just for looks (as they are now), get rid of them.

Yep. I believe a turbo-4 is a done deal. Don't like it though.

1st gen had them, and I don't see anyone complaining about those. That said, I doubt they make it onto this car.

As long as there's still a V8 option, I gots no problem with it. Turbo charged 4 cylinders can be made to be pretty awesome.
I'm just not a huge fan of having that many different engines. Like, gimmie a 4C Turbo, a V8 (with the option of a Supercharger), and 7.0 liter for the Z/28 and boom.

Improve the interior/dash/center console. It looks really cheap and doesnt really fit the style of the vehicle. The Mustang interior has the Camaro interior beat, please fix!
