Sean, those look great, but I'm more interested in the results on track. I love NT-01s! I hope they work as well as I expect!

Rear comparison:
Current Setup: 19x11 +43 vs. 19x11 +36 = 7mm more poke over stock If I put the fronts on the rear: 19x11 +43 vs. 19x10.5 +14 = 22.7mm more poke over stock

So, if somebody wanted to run 10.5 rims square, it would make sense to use Sean's F offset and then adjust the R offset to still maintain 7mm poke which would retain stock track width (close enough).

I think if I were to try and run 10.5 square rims I would adjust offset a bit.

I'd rather get 19x10.5 et22 x4 and run a small front spacer. That would poke 7mm more at the rear than Sean's but allow you to run identical wheels/tires (305 NT01) on all 4 corners. The ability to rotate front to rear at the track is huge.

Just for the reference this is how the 18mm poke in the rears look like (The rears are 19x11" +25mm offset )
It doesn't really bother me as much so Provoste's 19x10.5" with 22mm offset plan for the rears (my front wheels) would not even stick out as much, ability to swap them at the track is great of course

I think if I were doing a custom 10.5 square I would look into 19 x10.5 +19 with a 5mm spacer up front. This would keep the same inner strut clearance on the front while also maintaining the same poke I have now. On the rears it would poke 17.7mm more than stock, or 10mm more than what is on my car above.

Agree: strut clearance is something to consider for sure. The second area is widening the R track, which may induce more understeer. I guess there are pros/cons here. Personally I'd go with Sean's set up which maintains stock track and worry about the tires separately.

Same tires as op
305/30 RE71r 19's I believe I get more feedback thru the tire to the steering wheel, stiffer & shorter sidewalls than oem 305/30/20. Daily driving is actually so much more enjoyable loosing 20 something pounds of rotational weight- acceleration & braking takes noticeably less effort. Road noise & ride quality are negligible I don't pay mind to either. I have not tracked them yet,.. but Turn in response seems m9re direct more predictable more forgiving. Not that 285s are insufficient up front. We've seen the crazy fast lap times with oem. Its comparing swimming in a lake vs an ocean. You'll 99% never know the difference.. but you want to go swimming both fulfill that desire more than we can use |

Although I like the idea of sq setup wheels, I just didn't want to use anything narrower in the rear. To me it feels like a downgrade, when 305/30/19 tires put on 10.5" and 11" wheels you still get a slightly more mechanical grip due to size of the wheels. When put measured both the difference was exactly .5"=12mm.
Yes the ability of rotating tires has its benefits but NT01s are relatively cheaper than those Cup2s, Trofeo Rs, R7s .etc and I can always take it to a local Costco tire service and have them swap the wheels for $60, if I ever need to ( I didn't have to in the past)
