9.5

I bought my 50 SS Jan 30th, so I've it it 2-1/2 months. 2,222 miles

The 0.5 deduction is because I have recently developed an annoying brake squeal. Resurfacing the rotors will likely get that out, but that shouldn't be necessary at 2,000 miles.

I don't deduct for things that I knew going in, like the substandard trunk opening. The trunk has good room, especially for a convertible, but the size and configuration of the opening means there are things I like to carry that can't get into the trunk, because of how they are shaped. But I knew this before I bought the car. Smiles per mile more than makes up for that.

Interesting part is that with your head in a normal position, your side view is fig 1 and 4. Simply tilting your head left of right changes your view to fig. 2 and 5. 100% visibility and once you are a custom to it the thought of turning your head rearward seems dangerous.
I've been setting my mirrors like that for about 15 years, ironically dating back to when I was researching Side Blind Zone Alert as a new technology.

When my mirrors are set this way, I can literally watch vehicles disappear from my rear view as they appear in my side view mirror. Having SBZA indicator on the mirror provides an added level of security.

I started doing it with this car and feel it has made me a better driver. A perceived negative has turned into a life changing positive. It's instinctive and natural now.

personally i think GM knocked it out of the park with the new Camaro. We asked for it and we got it.

im telling u my dude turn your head. your goina kill someone on a motorcycle if you dont. or some guy speeding way faster then you whos behind you one second and tries to go around you right after u check ur mirror. some guy 2 lanes to your right and you both try entering the same lane at the same time, if you dont look over, ur going to hit each other for sure. theres always situations where there can be a blind spot. although having ur mirrors set up right helps a lot, its not perfect

That is the single reason I do still look over my shoulder when I change lanes.

Please tell all of us schmucks who think the car is worth a shit exactly what your issues are that bring it down to a 1 or a 2? I am not the sharpest scalpel on the table so your profound response has me somewhat puzzled. Please explain and enlighten all of us idiots that don't get it.
