Wish I had thought to snap a pic but when I was at the local distribution rail yard in Mesquite, Tx, there was a Rapid Blue ZL1 sitting out there. Looked great on that car. I like that color more on Camaro than on C8.

Check this youtube video out of a crashed 2022 Camaro ZL1 Rapid Blue I came across. Sad to see the car banged up. Very lucky guys to be still alive.

Crazy Crash!! This is not a true Rapid Blue ZL1. It has the Pre-19 taillights

That link you posted says the car was black underneath. The car appears to be black under the wrap. That could very well be the same car.

There are apparently a group of guys (mostly Camaros) that do canyon runs together (HOT1LE is the handle for the guy who posts the Youtubevideos). I think what they do is irresponsible (often 2x the speed limit, including spots with limited forward visibility) and risky. Should just take it to the track if they want to start getting anywhere near the handling limits.

Looks like this pattern has come back to bite one of them. Could easily have been killed running off the road had the cliff been higher.

Could easily have been killed in this incident - they had to have hit that tree in the upper half, and therefore were at least 10-15 feet in the air. If they weren't religious before, I bet you they are now.

Hmmmm..... I'm starting to think it really matters which model this blue is used on as to whether or not I like the way it looks.

I love it on the SS 1LE, as there are more black parts (especially the hood, and spoiler lip in the back) to contrast the blue. But on the ZL1 and the SS, there is simply too much of this blue and it looks bright..... but somehow wimpy. Maybe this is why a lot of people don't like it on the C8.

Yeah I totally agree. A guy would have to rap the hood I think on the ZL1. I was on the fence and almost ordered the rapid blue. Glad I went with the Riverside Blue Metallic.

I ordered a ZL1 1LE in rapid blue supposed to be built this morning. I'm glad i went with this color on the 1LE, the black accents will look awesome with the Rapid Blue.
