We have a DSX 255 LPH aux pump on this car. With e80 the fuel pressure is just starting to drop, so we are at the limits of that pump.

DSX offers an upgrade to a 320LPH pump for $50.00 extra.

Always amazing to see 4-digits with somewhat simple mods these days. Gotta love modern engines. 1000 is the new 800 (which was the new 600 not so long ago)

With these big builds, what do you guys do for catch cans and/or breathers? I know in past videos you mentioned you like the Tracy Lewis design. I think those designs are likely the best out there for non-WOT operation.

For WOT, particularly in boosted applications, I feel like that design has some potential for improvement in terms of evacuating rapidly building crankcase pressure. I think the MM design does it better in that regard.

I think the Tracy Lewis design with a checked breather on the can, or adding an extra checked breather on a valve cover might be the way to go. I'm curious where you guys land on the topic. Around here, I know catch cans are almost as hot a topic as which oil to use, though, so I hope I don't derail the thread too much!

Just bringing this back up. Hey @NickeyMatt1LE, what do you guys use for a catch can for these high HP builds? Just a Tracy Lewis / Elite E2X Ultra style setup with the two vacuum sources, or do you use some sort of backup vent in addition? Lots of opinion that there are tons of blown seals with high boost and that design can. What is your experience? Thanks!!

My blower is all set up for port injection and I thought about doing it but I'm wondering who the best shop in the country is at doing PI? Can I run 104 or 108 octane with it?

I ordered the E2X Ultra. We'll see how it goes. I saw someone here said they are running 15-16 psi with it without issue. If the seals blow, then it's cam time. LOL

We are using the Tracy Lewis Catch Cans on street and drag applications along with the TL check valve, but are not using catch cans in road race applications. Please start another thread for more detailed discussions.

What was the max boost, and is there anything more left?

Max boost was approx 15lbs. We did use some heads which flowed real well. We incorporated a smaller pulley and gained approx 1.5 lbs with good torque increase under the curve, but backed it down as SBE and stock trans and we want it to live. Not a max efforts build. With our Stage I cam we have found that we are on the limits of the second generation Magnuson 2650R one piece / case blower. The original three piece blowers seem to do better. We have not yet tried a fully ported blower as the structural integrity of the blower is paramount in road race applications.
