I'm shocked by how well this color turned out. I was stopped on an off-ramp yesterday as a Shock SS with black accents was stopped at the opposing on-ramp and that car could be seen from a mile away. It really pops in a sea of maroon, navy blue, and neutral colors.

I have seen a ZL1 1LE and SS 1LE in Shock in person, both in shade and sun, plus the ZL1 1LE also under artificial lighting. Crazy hard color to get right in pictures as can be seen in this thread, on eBay, AutoTrader, etc.
It looks very bright and crisp in person and in the sunlight. The fascias and rockers are MUCH better matches to the body than those on Crush vehicles I have seen in person and in pics. I like Shock a lot, but, would probably end up with Red Hot like my SS 1LE. I know I will never get tired of Red Hot, but, not sure of Shock. Shock looks great with the black trim / hood on 1LE's and is a show off color for sure. It's all a personal preference, of course. |

Here are a few high-res shots of my '19 Shock 1SS 1LE. Bought on Memorial Day and mostly stock aside from the badge mods. Hope to dig in a bit soon, but just enjoying it for now.

Shock looks good on the ZL1 and SS 1LE and also on the SS with the black wheel option. Those wheels on the SEMA car look like the optional factory wheels painted in black instead of dark silver.
