Oh for sure. Funny thing is maaco is actually 2x more expensive than the dealership estimate.

Only difference is dealership said they were only going to paint the area that was dented and blend it in?

Sounds like they want to do a spot repair, not good. Find a different dealer or better yet, shop around for an independent body shop.
