I made a separate thread for this but open to any input from you guys and gals here.
http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=503606 The post/thread reads as follows..... Looking for anyone with ideas or experience in how to replace the front support bracket. Commonly know as the BBQ Plate or Hot Plate. I had mine signed at CamaroFest and want to pull it off the car to protect it. (Unless people have other ideas on how to protect the signatures) I got the part number for it, GM 84034563 See the attached pictures/diagrams to see what part I'm talking about. I'm under the impression that you unbolt the hood latch handle and it comes free. After unbolting it of course.

Yes/no. There was never a cap/limit but they were only built during the 2017 Model Year which ended in April this year. I got a preliminary number from a GM employee at CamaroFest of 50ths built in the US: 5,976. I was told a detailed breakdown was still being complied. But I saw other vehicle totals on the email that was shared with me. I only remember and paid attention to the 50th. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm becoming convinced this car is cursed. I had my 5th gen for 4.5 years and never replaced the windshield or had the bad luck of rocks like I have in this car.
Guess I'm going to try the air leak fix after all, ugh!

It does, it's crazy how unlucky I have been with this car so far and it's not even a year old. I'm trying to stay positive though, the windshield is a easy fix, the paint would not be.
