Working on the complete northbound version. There is a technical issue with one of the files that I need to fix. Took about 25 minutes or so to run it. I stuck around the posted limit, especially since I'd never run it before. I did try to maintain my speed thru the corners. MAN this car is AWESOME!. Not even a squeal from the tires.

Will be posting the entire north run along with the south run soon, for those interested.

A couple of our group were singled out

Ok, heregoes my CHMSL install.....

...... cleaning all the "gunk" off, sorry no pics of that.

.....and I missed getting a pic of placing it back in.

Part 4 (Result)

All in all not a bad installation. The cleaning took the longest. I was really apprehensive about spraying the adhesive remover too much.

Looks sweet. Can't wait for mine to show up. All work done on the outside? Didn't have to remove the trunk lid liner at all?

Correct. Used a plastic panel removal tool to break the light/foam gasket loose.

The replacement fixture comes with the foam gasket already on it. No additional material was used.

Interesting ride home today. Played a golf outing in Auburn Hills, MI and decided to drive home down Woodward, as in Woodward Dream Cruise. Somewhere around Maple Rd (15 Mile Rd) I wind up behind an NGM ZL1 vert. Eventually passed him and we rode down to about 13 Mile Rd., single file with a red 1966 or 67 Mustang coupe next to us. The ZL-1 turned off onto 13 Mile. Then a Fifty vert twin turned onto Woodward. He wound up remaining a bit behind me, given he was stopped at the light as I passed thru it. He never caught up with me before I got to my exit point, but it was cool seeing another Fifty vert on the road.
