So what should I do
my car will be unloaded from the train Friday Morning hoever it will not be shipped to dealer (120 Miles away) tell Monday mid day so I wont be able to pick it up tell Tuesday AM.
OR
The dealer can come pick up my car from the rail lot Friday am and I can go to take delivery on Friday mid afternoon. However my dealer said there would be a cost for doing this. I am going on a long road trip this weekend and want to take my 2SS on my trip. how much is a reasonable price (240 miles round trip). just to get my car early and take on my road trip. I have been waiting for my car so long I am getting desperate. The dealer is going to call me tomorrow for the price quote.

I guess that's you decision. Would they be driving it or loading it on a trailer? I know I wouldn't want a dealer driving my car 240 miles. And you've waited this long already, what's a couple more days? Yea, I get you are going on a road trip, but you'll have an excuse to go on a ton of road trips as soon as you get the car anyway.

Does the heating system have some sort of an electric element to it? It seems like it starts making heat almost instantly.

He heater has been doing me very well with the few chilly nights here recently, car is overall awesome

Do you think the dealer Can actully pick it up for you? Or does it have to be delivered by the company it's shipping with and there partners?

I have been doing lots of research They can pick it up, my dealer already made arangements with them. They are just waiting to make sure it gets off the train friday, the lot unloads approx. 42 rail cars a day however the "rail car pusher" broke down last night so their running behind. The workers are going to work late tonight cause there is 32 rail cars comming into tonight around 830. they can only hold 47rail cars at one time.
This info did not come from my dealer.

I think they must have been talking about the body colored hood vents.
