Definitely no insult intended, it just seems to be a recurring issue that people may or may not be aware of. My buddies SS was delivered with the spring blocks in as well.

4 hour drive to get it, but worth every minute on the way home!
Bang for the buck unbeatable.
Picked it up from Koons in Tyson VA. Had a HBM ZL1 right next to mine that was going to NC.
They have a nice 1le inventory, drool worthy seeing them on on the lot

Congrats, looking good! When I was looking I didn't see anything at Koons which is close to me. Had to get mine from FL!

Inventory on these 1le's was a real head scratcher for sure! This was quite a process. D.C./VA seems to be the hot spot around me right now. 2 months ago I was going to get one from Bomnin in Miami. The other issue is that if a dealer only has 1 in stock they treat it like you are buying the only one GM made! Have to find a volume dealer.

All that said, it's worth the aggravation!

Koons was a good experience. Every deal is different but, they want to sell cars, not just keep them on the showroom floor for eye candy.
I got a fair trade and the car for the lower end of what has been reported on Camaro 6 from others

Good to hear that! Im in the middle east for work until august 19th but I'm hoping Koons still has some inventory in late august. I live in the Charlotte NC area, and haven't found much inventory in NC at all.

Picked up new SS 1LE on July 3rd in Colorado Springs. I had only one day to put miles on as I had to go out of town for work. Put on 130 miles. Cant wait to return home to get it broken in.
