Drove it for the first time in over a month and tried to go to the CamaroCon in Temecula, CA. When I hit the wall of traffic on southbound I-15 going 3-4 MPH, I gave up that idea and headed home where I found the trunk pull I ordered via eBay had arrived.

Super easy to install, takes about 10-15 minutes:

MojaveKY made an installation video on YouTube that'll walk you thru the process if you're interested.

three hundred mile trip #2. Car indicated 23.8mpg, while miles/gal's shows 29.32, all with half-and-half driving, highway 70-80, with a couple clicks at 90 !!!!
This last trip, I used a dose of Lucas fuel treatment (injector cleaner)
*****
Wish there was a way to recalibrate the display indicated to what's actual.
The V6 I had got a flat 27mpg, same trip. I find this amazing, with such a honking motor.

Wow, great gas mileage. I have a long trip coming up and I hope that I get similar.

I just use the trunk latch as a handle. Works fine.

Dislike the 2019? Find amazing deals on leftovers

After waiting to see the 19's and being disappointed with that Toyota Charger front end, my wife tasked me with finding her a classy PRE-2019 2SS. It wasn't super easy to find a loaded up coupe with the exact colors and options she wanted without a sunroof (we never use them in our existing cars, and she loves that mohawk roof line). She also doesn't go for splitters, stripes, or black wheels (no offense to anyone who likes their cars super racy looking, it's just not her personal taste). It took some doing but I found about 7 cars nationwide that met her specs. The eventual winner was 300 miles away, and had been sitting on a NY lot for the last 201 days. After cutting a deal over the phone we drove from Northern Virginia up to Mt Kisco, NY for a screaming deal on a shiny new 2017 leftover. The perfect car for her that apparently no one else wanted...

2017 2SS A8 - Garnet Red/Black - Silver Wheels - Mag Ride - NPP - Nav - No Roof

$47,875 MSRP
$43,800 SELLING PRICE (EMPLOYEE PRICE MINUS HOLDBACKS)
$-4,000 FINAL PAY (201 DAY OLD CAR)
$-1,500 2017 CAMARO CASH ALLOWANCE
$-1,500 GM BUCKS
----------
$36,800 NET ($11,075 / 23% OFF STICKER)

$75 DEALER DOC FEE (WOW, AWESOME)
$292 REG & TITLE (INCLUDES TAG TRANSFER SERVICE)
$12.50 NY TIRE FEE (?)
$1800 (4.15% VIRGINA SALES TAX)
----------
$39,000 OUT THE DOOR. I think some folks are going to pay a lot more than that for an ugly 19

"What did you do to your 6th Gen Camaro today?!" We had the dealer add the body-color, painted splash guards and drove it home like we stole it.

Here's some pics at a lunch stop...

Now it just needs some LLumar Pinnacle from the tint man and one of those Modern Spare tire kits. Nice car.
