Went into speak to the Service Manager today to have this very discussion.

I told him I track 6-8 times a year at Daytona, Sebring and PBIR.

His statement is:

Don't tune it. Don't run alternate fuels (E85, 104, 118). No CAI. No headers/cats. Axel back is ok.

Tires ok. Brake pads ok. Brake fluid ok.

Change your fluids/filters at home if you wish, but keep your receipts.

DON'T TUNE YOUR ECM.

Not only can they see when you did it, but what you loaded. Yikes.

After all that, don't be afraid to tell them the truth when you are on track.

One of the reasons it took so long to get the Vette issues fixed is because Vette owners thought they would be held liable.

Yes. This will be my new spot every Friday night in the summer.

KH6GEN1LE, can you confirm if the track brake ducts come in the trunk on the 1LE, similar to the regular SS.

Can't wait to see more pics and the PDR video.

I'd like to see pics of the front and rear tire/fender gaps too on a level surface if you don't mind...car definitely sits a lot lower than the Chicago show car thankfully.

I honestly couldn't find the brake in the rear. The front are easy to spot. Might have to look a little harder.

I was talking about the plastic brake duct/deflector that comes in the trunk in a plastic bag on SS models and is supposed to be installed for track use.

See picture here: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showpo...3&postcount=12

I just wasn't sure if the 1LE comes with those or not.

Its likely the car will settle lower with some more miles right? I think it looks great but slightly lower wouldn't hurt either.
