Yeah my dealer thinks that 4300 means that it was shipped. He thinks the car will be in by monday or tuesday but I know it wont. Thats okay because once it moved to 4300 he was able to lock in my rebate. Weather still sucks here in Buffalo so im in no rush!

At that point -

They lied. Go to palsapp.com and enter your vin. If it says pending it hasn't shipped. yours said pending when I checked. I ordered my 1st zl1 1le and it came in damaged (11k in damage according to the gm rep) I spoke to the assistant manager of Chevrolet customer experience and he told me that 1 once my car was built he would sent up a "special" delivery (he said couldn't do enclosed but he would have it flat bedded by itself to the dealer) and he said it wouldn't sit more than a week after it was built. He told me he could rush the 2nd one through and get it built right away to which i said if you can't ship enclosed don't rush it i'll wait (hoping the longer build time would bring better shipping weather for exposed shipping) but once it is built please don't let it sit in the elements so that it doesn't begin the oxidation process on the aluminum components. Well he lied. He has since told me he can't offer special shipping and it has sat more than a week. At this point I have lost 2k (due to a bonus on my gm card expiring) and since better weather is coming I bet the rebates go down. I sent him an email and told him if I lose out on the rebates I'm walking. Chevrolet has taken the excitement out of the new car purchase for me and there are people that have waited longer than me. if they can't deliver them in a timely manner than they shouldn't make them and let them sit outside in the elements. I have yet to have a good experience with a new car ordered from gm and when the 1st one came within less than 2 months I thought i was dreaming but knew it was too good to be true with gm involved. (their allocation system plain sucks)

No worries Becky I am used to it. Like Alan My dad and I had a 10 month wait on 2012 zl1s we ordered and we ended up finding a 2013s on the lot and bought them (one in Buffalo and one in ST Louis). I ordered a 2015 GMC diesel truck in may and did not get it until October. I ordered a Z06 in 2015 and waited 6 months didn't have a tpw yet so I found one on the lot and bought it. I have ordered Audi and BMWs that have come from germany quicker. Wish you were closer and the cost of shipping or courtesy del fees didn't inflate the price so much. I almost asked to have this one delivered to you so I could pick it up enclosed. Its my Dads fault I keep putting myself through this he is a gm guy and a car guy and started me early.
