My wife's 2SS convertible has them active - not much to feel for the ventilated seats. My 15 Silverado has cooled seats (Thermo-Electric Device version) that work decently well even in the Texas heat. The 16's had a cost savings to get rid of the TEDs and change to vented from cooled. Those suck.

Just so everyone is clear. The proper way to use these vented seats is to make sure you have your AC on and blasting to the foot setting. The cold air will make its way under the front seat, and up your nether regions. If you dont put the AC on feet, you will never feel that tiny fan. That's how it works best in the regular 2SS and other vented seat cars.

1 - That's dumb that that's what is required

2 - I've tried this 'trick' and it didn't change anything. After a 30 minute car ride home from work, I never feel any difference.

Really wish it had the thermo-electric version. What a marketing gimmic.

No, what happened is Chevy stole it from Cadillac, but that was stopped after 1 year.

Yes and no, you have to drill for the switch, if you guys dont want a switch where the rest of the seat controls are we can make them that way too but will need to know a head of time.

here is a pic of the kit for you to look at.
